In All Good Conscience

Song: The Precious Book Divine

Scripture: Acts 23:1

Then Paul, looking earnestly at the council, said, "Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day" (Acts 23:1).

The conscience is that part of your mind that prompts you to do what you believe to be right and that keeps you from doing what you believe to be wrong. One's conscience does not determine what is right and wrong. It simply prompts one to act in accordance with whatever standard of right and wrong one accepts.

Living "in all good conscience" is not enough.
