The House of Jason

Song: I Want To Be A Worker

Scripture: Acts 17:5-9

Nothing more is known of Jason but what is revealed in Acts 17:5-9. Some angry Jews in Thessalonica believed Jason to be harboring them in his house. They dragged Jason and other brethren to the rulers of the city to accuse them of pledging allegiance to another besides Caesar.

I have had the opportunity to travel to India on two occasions. I was overwhelmed with a lesson that I did not have to travel to India to learn. If you have a house, you are blessed. Use your house to the glory of God. "The house of Jason" was attacked because "the Jews who were not persuaded" believed Jason to be using his house to harbor those who were "saying there is another king - Jesus" (Acts 17:5, 7).

How do others see us using our houses?
