Taste and See

Scripture: 1 Peter 2:1-3

"Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious." (1 Peter 2:1-3)

Tasted - geuomai - a primary verb; to taste; by implication, to eat; figuratively, to experience (good or ill): KJV - eat, taste (Strong's).

"Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good: blessed is the man that taketh refuge in him" (Psalm 34:8; ASV).
