Both to Do and Teach

Scripture: Acts 1:1

"The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach" (Acts 1:1).

Jesus practiced what He preached, and that made all the difference in His ministry. If I am to be effective in mine, I must walk the walk. I must "also walk just as He walked" (1 John 2:6). When others see Him living in Me, then and only then, will my teaching make a difference.

"For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps..." (1 Peter 2:21).
