Song: Power In The Blood
Scripture: Acts 3:11-26
“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord…” (Acts 3:19).
Ancient writing was upon papyrus. Ancient ink used no acid – it did not bite into papyrus as modern ink does – it simply lay upon the top of it. To erase one would take a wet sponge and simply wipe away. When God forgives our sins He wipes the slate clean with the blood of the Lamb!
"I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins" (Isaiah 42:25).
