Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, "Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel..." (Luke 2:34).

The word "rising" refers to resurrection throughout the rest of the New Testament.  To receive Him is to rise.  To reject Him is to fall.

This Lord's Day we rise and proclaim His resurrection!
