Onesimus heard the gospel of Christ and was born again (10). He revealed to Paul that he was a runaway slave who belonged to a Christian named Philemon. Paul informed Onesimus that he must return to Philemon. Onesimus went back to Philemon.
Onesimus was forgiven of His sins by the blood of the Lamb. Repentance required him to go back to Philemon. Onesimus went back.
