What Can I Do?

Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:24-26

Jesus would have me to go into all the world and preach the gospel to everyone. According to Jesus in the parable of the sower, most folks will not be receptive to the gospel. As His servant, what can I really do when it comes to the business of evangelism?

"And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will" (2 Timothy 2:24-26).

1. I must not quarrel - to war, dispute, strive, to fight

2. I can be gentle to all - affable, mild, kind

3. I can prepare myself to teach - apt and skillful in teaching

4. I can be patient - enduring of ill

5. I can correct others in humility - mildness, gentleness, a temper of spirit

6. I can remember that the Devil is the enemy - He sets traps and captures folks

7. I can pray for the salvation of others - He longs for their release from the Devil's snare
