Scripture: Titus 1:1-3
"Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior..." (Titus 1:1-3).
"Manifested" means "to make manifest or visible or known what has been hidden or unknown (Thayer's). God has chosen to make known His word through preaching. The Holy Spirit revealed the word to the Apostles and they made it manifest through preaching.
The preaching of God's Word is important. It is how God first made faith in Christ manifest. When Word is preached today His will becomes known for those who previously did not know it. Preach the Word!
