This Man Came to Jesus

Scripture: John 3:1-2

"There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night" (John 3:1-2).

There are a number of ideas surrounding why Nicodemus came to Jesus "by night." I'm impressed that He came at all. Jesus does not turn him away because He came at night.

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). The One to whom we should go does not seemed to be too concerned about when we come...morning, noon, or night. He just longs for us to come.
