A Prayer to Pray for One Another

Scripture: Ephesians 1:15-23

Do not cease to give thanks for your brethren. Make mention of them in prayers. Pray specifically for them.

Ephesians 1:15-19 contains a prayer that we should pray for one another. Consider these five petitions. Pray them for your brethren.

1. "...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him..."

2. "...the eyes of your understanding being enlightened..."

3. "...that you may know what is the hope of His calling..."

4. "...what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints..."

5. "...and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power..."
